Kok et al. (2021b), DustCOMM data of size-resolved contributions of each of the world’s main dust source regions to the global cycle of desert dust, University of California - Los Angeles. Dataset. https://doi.org/10.15144/S4RP4Z The data in this directory was described and reported in Kok, J. F., et al. (2021), Contribution of the world’s main dust source regions to the global cycle of desert dust, Atmospheric Chemistry and Physics, 21, 8169-93. Files are named starting with the field reported (e.g., DAOD), followed by the timescale (seasonal or annual), followed by the size range (resolved by particle bins ("bin") or for a given geometric diameter range (PM2.5, PM10, or PM20) or for a given aerodynamic diameter range (PM2.5_aero or PM10_aero)), followed by whether contributions per source regions are reported in terms of absolute values or fractions (for which the "mean" field will sum to 1 for each grid box).
